May she rest in peace.
To Betty’s loving family,
I am so sorry to hear of Grandmothers passing. She was my first introduction in my 20’s to what a genteel, southern lady was meant to exemplify. She taught me about silver, china, southern cooking and humor were all about. Walter the rabbit is a true story, don’t let anybody tell you different! Betty, you made a huge impression and footprint on everyone’s lives. Thank you so much.
All my love to family,
Adriene W Rainey
One of the sweetest persons that I have ever known. She welcomed me with open arms and a open heart into her family. She was a loving grandmother and mother and mother-in-law. She was also very funny! The story about Walter the rabbit still cracks me up! My heart breaks for the entire family and she will be greatly missed. And I know how Richard and Sam inherited the ability to use every pot and pan in the kitchen, she taught them to be incredible cooks and completely destroy a kitchen at the same time. She will be missed with all my heart and those of her grandchildren as well.
All my love and prayers for everyone,
Our sincere condolences go out to you and your extended family. Hold dear all the fond memories of your mother and may they give you a measure of peace and comfort during this difficult time.
