Alfredo Palacious

Mr. Alfredo Palacious, 75, of Indianola, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Ruleville Nursing and Rehab. Visitation will be 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Shaw, MS. The rosary will immediately follow beginning at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2015, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Shaw with Father Tom Mulally officiating. Mr. Alfredo Palacious was born in Shaw, MS on June 3, 1940, to Camilo Palacious and Benita Garcia Palacious. On November 3, 1971, he married Minerva Soliz in Cleveland, MS. He worked in construction and agriculture for many years. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Shaw who was a very loving person who adored his grandchildren and lived for them. He enjoyed watching baseball, picking pecans, and keeping his house spotless and clean. He was a known flirt and a hard worker.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; brother, Julian Palacious; and sisters, Josephine Lindsey, Romona Soliz, and Mary Palacious. Mr. Palacious is survived by his daughter, Estella Torres of Indianola; grandchildren, Benita Torres, Marisa Torres, Fabian Torres, and Delicia Torres all of Boyle; siblings, Francis Edwards (Dale) of Cleveland, Joe Palacious (Susan) of Cleveland, Mike Palacious (Louise) of Cleveland, Nick Palacious of Cleveland, Paul Palacious of Hobbs, NM, and Pete Palacious (Rosie) of Hobbs, NM.
