Alice Ferretti

Mrs. Alice Lee Downs Ferretti, 62, of Shaw, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014, at her home. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2014, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Shaw. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2014, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Shaw.
Mrs. Ferretti was born June 30, 1952, to James Moay Downs, Jr. and Frances Louise Yarborough. On October 25, 1984, she married Gee John Ferretti. She enjoyed working in the yard, cleaning house, going to auctions, yard sales, fishing, sewing, and horses. She also loved helping others.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Louise Yarborough; and sister, Frances Horton.
Mrs. Ferretti is survived by her children, Billy Vance, Jr. of Monroe, LA (Patrice), and Lisa Cantrell of Greenville, MS; Special Companion, Roger Willoughby of Shaw, MS; Siblings, Ann Pinion (Billy)of Indianola, MS, Diane Tingle of Pearl, MS, Gene Nelson of Jackson, MS; grandchildren, Todd Vance of Hernando, MS, Cody Vance of Hernando, MS, Desiree Murphy (Tyler) of Drew, Nashley Fausnight, Ally Fausnight, James Causey, Jonathan Shaffer, Brad Tingle, Tiffany Smith, Shanon Fikes, Ricky Horton, Frank Horton; and step-father, Elliss Britt of Hollandale, MS.
