Allison Lester

Allison Valeria Lester, 34, of Avon, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014, at Mississippi Care Center in Greenville, MS. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Greenville. A Christian Burial will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Greenville with Father Rusty officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Gardens Cemetery.
Allison was born on July 8, 1980, in Greenville, to James Richard Lester and Ann McCorkle Lester. Her world revolved around her family, and she talked about her niece all the time. She loved music as well as her pets Bella and Sadie.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Richard Lester; grandparents, Bill and Alta McCorkle and Alliston and Odie Lester; and Aunt, Janie Lester Hutchinson.
Allison is survived by mother, Ann McCorkle Lester of Avon; bother, Jamie Lester (Lindsey) of Greenville; niece, Kennedy Elaine Lester; two aunts, Vallerie Ray (Tom) of Cleveland and Mona Skeen (Larry) of Greenville; uncle, Perry Hutchinson of Glen Allen; and a host of cousins.
Pallbearers will be Al Ray, Whitney Hutchinson, J.J. Reynolds, Patrick Rainwater, Russell Woods, and Chris Tharp.
In Memory of Allison, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
