Amerina Mei

Mrs. Amerina Biagioli Mei,94, of Shaw, MS, passed away in Ballwin, MO, Friday, July, 8, 2011. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Shaw, MS from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Shaw, MS at 11:00 a.m.. Burial will follow services in Shaw Cemetery.
Mrs. Mei was born in Heathman, MS to Dominic Biagioli and Anna Pirani on November 3, 1916. She was the beloved wife to the late Louis Mei for sixty-five years. She is survived by Daughter Stella A. Corley (Patrick) Chesterfield, MO and Theresa R. Huddleston (David) of Elgin, IL . Mrs. Mei was a loving grandmother "Nona" of Kathlean Corley Karabanov (Dmitry), Gina M. Corley, Wendy Parks Rose, John D. Parks, Sherry Huddleston Alonso (Mel), Gunnery Sgt. David Huddleston II ( Sanae); great-grandmother of eight; dearest sister of Nannie Bailey, Mary Biagioli and the late Flo Pieralisi, Ramiro Biagioli, Levia Lyons, and Evo Biagioli. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, great -aunt, cousin, god-mother, and friend to many. Mrs. Mei was a 77 year member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Shaw and a 9 year member of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Ellisville, MO. She was a Eucharistic minister. She was a member in Home Demonstration and Extension Club. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and gardening. She leaves behind her special friend Leo Nelsen.
Preceded in death by daughter, Josephine Parks, infant son, Louis Marion Mei.
