Ann Foster

Mrs. Ann (Annie Mae) McMurry Sims Foster, 97, of Cleveland, passed away, Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Ray Funeral Home with the Celebration of Life Services immediately following beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Bro Breland and Bro. John Gentry officiating. Interment will be in New Cleveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Foster was born on October 4, 1915 to R.T. McMurry and Nelie Motes McMurry in Alabama. She married Chester Veil Foster in 1957. She worked at Baxter health care for 37 years. She enjoyed flowers and working in her yard. She loved to cook her favorite things chocolate cake and homemade biscuits. She also loved her family dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, R.T. McMurry and Nelie Motes McMurry; husband, Chester Foster; daughter, Audrey Elaine Millican; brothers, James McMurry, Oddie McMurry, Rev. Clark McMurry, J.C. McMurry; and sisters, Vonda Lee McMurry, and Pauline McMurry Jones.
She is survived by her daughters, Joan Rizzo, Bettie Sims Hayes; grandchildren, Mark Anthony Rizzo, Sheila Rizzo Moore (Raymond), Antonette Summerford (Greg), Andy Millican (Elaine), Cindy Millican Mathes (Carl), and Sherrie Hayes Daseler (Jim); 9 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
