Ansley Pate Scribner

Ansley Pate Scribner, 4, passed away on August 9, 2018, surrounded by her family at UMC in Jackson. Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2018, at Ray Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2018, at Ray Funeral Home with Dr. Joseph Anderson officiating. Interment will be in New Cleveland Cemetery.
Ansley was born on November 20, 2013, to Aron Scribner and Jenna Weeks in Memphis, TN. She enjoyed dancing, singing with her sister, JorJor, and JoJo, playing with bubbles with her sister, and watching Youtube. Ansley had a strong and vibrant personality with a huge heart but would often tell people "I beata ya butt". She also enjoyed showing off her muscles just like her Pawpaw Johnny. Ansley loved spending time with her parents; she would play with her mom's hair, and her daddy's hat and glasses.
She is survived by her parents, Jenna Weeks of Merigold and Aron Scribner of Charleston; sister, Katelynn Scribner of Charleston; maternal grandparents, Joanna and Steve Barnes of Merigold and Johnny and Dena Weeks of Boyle; paternal grandparents, Anthony and Kerry Scribner of Charleston and Makia and Terry Whitt of Ponotoc; maternal great-grandparents, Dr. Joe and Jan Anderson of Meridian, Judy Weeks of Cleveland, Joyce Barnes of Cleveland, and Danny and Deborah Barfield of Cleveland; paternal great-grandparents, Brenda and Tony Scribner of Cleveland and Avis and Hirim Whitt of Ponotoc; aunts and uncles, Jordan Weeks (Dakota Downs), Ashley Weeks, Brittney Barnes, Michael Turner (Laney), Astric Whitt, Matt Russell, Ray Scribner, and Taylor Wortham; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Perrett, Brian Kendall, Michael Turner, Dakota Downs, Mark Taylor, and Matt Russell. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Perrett and Jared Taylor.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made to Spina Bifida Association.
