Barbara Ann Burnside Moore, 64, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at her home. Visitation will be 3:00-4:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013, at Ray Funeral Home. Services will immediately follow beginning at 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Breland officiating.
Mrs. Moore was born July 18, 1949, in Arkansas to Boyce Emerson Burnside and Eva Elizabeth Decker Burnside. She married David Michael Moore on January 1, 1984, in Gunnison and worked for 43 years in office management. Her hobbies were talking, baking, singing, and dancing. She was a fiber artist for many years and was talented at looming. Her favorite pastimes were being outside in nature, picking flowers, and looking for special rocks. She cherished her dogs Doozie, Nozum, Bella, Cash, and Bobo. She loved her family and friends dearly and was a caring and kind person. She loved to make people laugh. Most importantly, her grandson, Kylan, was her heart and her life revolved around him.
She is survived by her husband, David Moore of Rosedale; son, Steve Anthony Ellison of Cleveland; grandson, Kylan Ellison of Cleveland; sisters Laurel Travis (Tee) of Rosedale and Kristie Foster of Senatobia; brother, Bruce Burnside (Susan) of Cleveland; and nieces and nephews, Brett Burnside, Nash Burnside, Tyler Burnside, Candace Johansson all of Cleveland, Chuck Travis of Indianola, and Paige Norwood of Hernando.
