Beatrice Cocilova Rocconi

Beatrice Cocilova Rocconi, 96 of Shaw, MS was called home to be with her Lord on March 28, 2020. Beatrice was born March 16, 1924 in Shaw, MS to Joseph and Emma (Baioni) Cocilova. She married Aldo Victor Rocconi January 3, 1946 in Shaw, MS. She helped run Midway Grocery store outside of Boyle for 26 years until her husband became ill. She enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes and watching sports. She also enjoyed playing cards with a group of friends. She loved going to Church and she loved God and her family. Even with her dementia she would pray the Lord's prayer often. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Emma (Baioni) Cocilova; husband, Aldo Victor Rocconi; brothers, Costa, Johnny, Sam, Elio, Viro, and Bob Cocilova; sisters, Jenny and Julia Rossetti; and son-in-law, Bud Grimmett She is survived by her daughters, Josephine Rocconi Muzzi (Jimmy) of Shaw, Sharon Rocconi Grimmett of Boyle, Judy Rocconi Dickerson (Mike) of Vicksburg; son, Bobby Rocconi (Linda) of Greenville; brother, Dominic Cocilova; sisters, Mary Nowell, Pat Blardinelli, and Katie Espinoza; grandchildren, Michael Muzzi (Doreen), Coleman Grimmett (Maggie), Christal Grimmett Hudson, Hunter Grimmett (Lexi), Will Dickerson (Lindsey), and Amanda Dickerson Hanes (David); thirteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Alzheimer's Association or a church of your choice.
