Bert Thompson Merideth

Mr. Bert Thompson Merideth 86, of Cleveland, MS was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 20, 2020 at his home in Cleveland, MS. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Delta Memorial Heights in Cleveland, MS. Bert was born June 15, 1934 in Greenville, MS to William & Virgie Merideth. Bert married Margie Earline Skellion on July 13, 1980 in Cleveland, MS. He served in the Army-National Guard. He was a welder/machinist in the agricultural/industrial industry for over fifty years. Most of all he loved spending time with family and friends especially being outside where they enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, riding four wheelers and dirt bikes, and traveling. He is preceded in passing by his parents, W.E. & Virgie Merideth. Bert is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Margie Merideth; sons, Ryan Merideth (Hope), Dr. Walter Seale (Michelle), Ted Merideth (Julie), and Ken Merideth; daughter, Amanda McCormick (Mark); grandsons, Mason & Spencer Seale, and Jackson Bowers; granddaughters, Mallory Merideth, Katie Seale, Amber McCormick, Haize-Leigh Bowers, and Shana Merideth; three great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; special nieces, Denise Evans Bowers, Sonya Hall, and Brenda Skellion.
