Betty's commitment to education extended beyond the classroom walls. She believed that education was not just about imparting knowledge but also about nurturing character and instilling values.
Outside of her career, Betty found immense happiness in being a loving sister and mother. Her family meant the world to her, and she showered them with warmth, strength, and courage. She held the role of mother dear to her heart and never missed an opportunity to show how much she cared.
Betty had an infectious enthusiasm for sports, especially when it came to cheering for her children and grandchildren. Often dubbed the loudest person in the stands, she would cheer fervently, providing unwavering encouragement to her loved ones.
