Betty H. Hollingsworth

Betty H. Hollingsworth, 75, went on to be with the Lord on October 16, 2020. A visitation will be on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Ray Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will take place at Ray Funeral Home Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 2 p.m. with a graveside service following at the Lehrton Cemetery. She was born on February 4, 1945 in Boyle, MS to William H. Hopper Sr. and Bettie Blount Hopper. She graduated Cleveland High School in 1963, and went on to take paralegal courses at Delta State University. She married Walter Adrian Hollingsworth on January 5, 1963. Mrs. Betty worked at Baxter Healthcare for 3 years, Mississippi Department of Corrections in Parchman for 9 years, and was co-owner of W.A. Hollingsworth Construction, Inc. since 1989. She is preceded in passing by her parents, William H. Hopper Sr. and Bettie Hopper; two sisters, Virdia Compton and Ruth Howard; two brothers, William H. Hopper Jr. and Ellis Hopper. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Walter Adrian Hollingsworth; her three children, Buford Daryl Hollingsworth, Vicki Sue Cole, and Terry Adrian Hollingsworth (Cynthia) ; sister, Margaret Huey (Billy) ; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers for her service will be Terry Adrian Hollingsworth, Caleb Hollingsworth, Eric Weaver, Jeff Dyche, Austin Robinson, and William Carl Hopper. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Storm Cole and Ricky Hopper.
