Billye Tedford

Billye Jean Ivy Tedford, 79, of Marks, MS, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 in Memphis, TN. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. Services will immediately follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Ray Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Haney officiating. Burial will be in North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Tedford was born in Darling, MS on December 9, 1932, to Johnny and Louise Ivy. She married Clarence Edward Tedford September 24, 1949, in Cleveland, MS. She was the homemaker of the family and enjoyed cooking and taking food to others.
Mrs. Tedford was preceded in death by her infant son; husband, Clarence Edward Tedford; parents Johnny Ivy and Louise Ivy Davis; two brothers, Johnny Ivy and Bill Ivy; one sister, Marlene Ivy Schiele.
Mrs. Tedford is survived by a daughter, Connie Louise (Jr.) Ray of Louisiana; grandson, Ted (Melissa) Ray of Louisiana; granddaughter, Jessica (Bradley) Ray of Louisiana; great-grandchild, Jace Ray of Louisiana; brother, Stanley Ivy of Illinois; niece, Rhonda (Les) Newton of Marks; nephew, Bob (Pam) Schiele of Marks; great nieces, Lauren Newton of Marks, Marley Anne Schiele of Marks; great-nephew, Drew Schiele of Marks.
Pallbearers will be Bob Schiele, Drew Schiele, Les Newton, David Tedford, Julio Vargas and Ed Phillips.
In honor of Mrs. Tedford, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
