Bobbie Robinson

Bobbie H. Robinson, 69, of Drew, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2014, at Ray Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow in Lehrton Cemetery beginning at 12:30 p.m. with Bro. Joe Young officiating.
Mr. Robinson was born in Greenwood, MS on July 22, 1945, to Robert H. "Bob" Robinson and Mary Belle Ward Robinson. On November 27, 1964, he married Rose Mary Young in Merigold, MS. He loved hunting and fishing, cooking for family and friends, tending to his martins, growing blackberries, and general conversations with anyone who would listen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. "Bob" Robinson and Mary Belle Ward Robinson.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Rose Mary Robinson of Drew; son, Chance Robinson of Drew; grandson, Storm Robinson of Memphis, TN; sister, Robbie Wood (Linton) of Saltillo; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Storm Robinson, Timbo Sandifer, Steve Hausner, Ottie Levingston, Henry Mosco, Jr., Elvin Yawn, Bruce Robinson, and Guy Legg. Honorary pallbearers will be V.J. Griffin, Linton Wood, Carlton Mayfield, Houston Weaver, Jimmy Haney, and Jerry Ward.
