Bobby Gene Davis

Mr. Bobby Gene Davis, 86, of Rosedale, MS passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Delta Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Phillips Chapel Cemetery in Tuscaloosa, AL with Brother Jerry Montgomery officiating. Mr. Davis was born in Greenville, MS on January 24, 1931 to Eugene Davis and Ethel Curtis Davis. He was so passionate about fishing that he made a career out of it and spent his life doing what he loved. He was well known in the town of Rosedale, where he lived, and he knew everyone there also. He was a Christian man who loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all of his heart. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Davis and Ethel Curtis Davis; and sisters, Patricia Davis Hallman and Rena Davis. Mr. Davis is survived by his nieces, Joyce Watson (Randy) of Berry, AL and Patsy Elmore Smith (Glenn) of Northport, AL; extended family, Betty Aycock and Mildred Krebs of Northport, AL; and a host of other beloved family members.
