Mr. Essie Brown Ryle , Jr., 79, of Boyle, MS, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of life services will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Clarence Edwards officiating. Interment will be in New Cleveland Cemetery.
Mr. Ryle was born in O'Reilly, MS on October 2, 1932 to Essie Brown Ryle, Sr. and Mary Lucille Maxwell Ryle. He was married to Mrs. Betty Jean Medders and worked as a rural route carrier for the United States Postal Services for 45 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Brown and Lucille Ryle and his wife, Betty Jean Ryle.
Mr. Ryle is survived by his sons, Essie Brown Ryle III (Diane) of Vista,CA, and Martin Lee Ryle (Georgia) of McComb, MS; grandchildren, Michelle and Coby Ryle of Vista, CA, Kelly Antici (Brandon) of Oxford, MS, Jeremy Ryle of Orlando, Fl and Ethan Ryle of McComb; great-grandchildren, Anna Antici of Oxford and Aiden Ryle of Orlando, FL; Aunt, Billie Hughes (Hulett) of O'Reilly; and special friend, Annette Daves of Cleveland.
Pallbearers will be Robert Heslep, Michael Whitten, Dallas Bright, Joe Reed, Bern Prewitt and Gene Bednar. Honorary pallbearers are the deacons of First Baptist Church in Boyle.
