Caroline Ivy

Mrs. Caroline Maybelle Ivy, 85, of Illinois, formerly of Merigold, MS passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012, in Illinois. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of life services will be 3 p.m. Friday, May 25 at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Fish Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Merigold Cemetery.
She was born to Homer Issac Davis and Lillian M. Rogers on June 1, 1926, in Mills Wyoming. She married Ernest Derwood Ivy on December 19, 1972. Mrs. Ivy spent 25 years working as a photographer with the Bolivar Commercial. She loved working in her garden, watching birds and doing crafts.
Mrs. Ivy is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Lillian Davis; her son, Billy Ivy; and her husband Ernest Derwood Ivy.
She is survived by daughters Patricia Ramage of Galesburg, IL, and Carolyn Naramore of Flint, MI; son, John Ivy of Sardis, MS; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 5 great- great grandchildren.
