Charles Patrick Godbold, Jr.
Mr. Charles Patrick "Pat" Godbold, Jr., 71, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017, at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Ray Funeral Home with Father Kent Bowlds officiating. Interment will be in Delta Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Mr. Godbold was born in Tallulah, LA, on October 13, 1946, to Charles Patrick Godbold, Sr. and Carmelita Beal Godbold. He attended Shelby High School and where he was a Beau from 1963-1965, and after graduating he continued his education at MDCC. On November 29, 1975, he married Linda Ferri in Cleveland, MS. He was a hard worker who owned and operated Godbold Trucking for 40 years. He worked for Helena Chemical for four years and Sanders Seed for forty years. More than anything, he loved going to the beach with his family every year.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Patrick Godbold, Sr. and Carmelita Beal Godbold; and sister, Anna Wade Rowe.
Mr. Godbold is survived by his wife, Linda Ferri Godbold of Cleveland; daughters, Carmen Godbold Levingston (John W. "Duke") of Cleveland and Anna Presley Godbold of Murfreesboro, TN; grandson, John Rhett Levingston of Cleveland; sister, Sandra Lynn Boucher of Tulsa, OK; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Alex Ferri, Steve Ferri, Brant Godbold, Morgan Gulledge, Darrell Malatesta, and Hayse Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Benjamin Ferri, William Ferri, Richard King, David Malatesta, and Charles Moore.
