Cheslie was born in Jackson, MS yet grew up in Leland, MS where she attended and graduated from Leland High School. After graduating from Leland High School, Cheslie pursued further education and earned an associate degree from the MS Delta Community College. She cherished her time spent at college and valued the knowledge gained during those years. However, it was through her love and dedication to Bo that she found true fulfillment.
For over 17 years, Cheslie shared her kindness and passion for helping others as the office manager at Dr. Shipps' office in Greenville. Her compassion and warm nature touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Cheslie treated every patient as if they were family, offering comfort and support during their time of need. Most of all Cheslie had the biggest heart and was truly the brightest light on this earth. She lived her life with a contagious joy and was always willing to lend a helping to anyone in need. Her selflessness knew no bounds, and she loved her son with all of her heart. Cheslie's greatest achievement in life was being a devoted mother to her son Bo.
Cheslie was preceded in passing by her mother Brenda Edwards who held an irreplaceable place in her heart. The bond between Cheslie and Brenda was truly one of a kind, as they were not only mother and daughter but also the best of friends.
She leaves behind her loving son David Michael "Bo" Adams, who will continue to be a reflection of the beautiful person she was. Cheslie is also survived by her father Charles Allen Edwards and her beloved brother Mickey Lee (Harli) Sellars. In addition to them, she is survived by numerous adoring, loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
