Clara Cocilova

Mrs. Clara Rocconi Cocilova, 90, of Shaw, MS, passed away, Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be held, Monday, January 2,2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Shaw from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. A rosary will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. Celebration of life service will be Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with Father Tom Mallally, Father Pius Lawe and Father Tarsisius Puling officiating. Burial will follow celebration of life service in Shaw Cemetery.
Mrs. Cocilova was born May 26, 1921 in Cleveland, MS to Joseph Emanuel Rocconi and Justina Paolosini Rocconi. She married, Viro Cocilova, March 4, 1946 in Cleveland, MS. Mrs. Cocilova was a retired store owner of Sand Pit Store in Shaw, MS and the Midway Store in Boyle, MS.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Viro Cocilova; son, Roy Paul Cocilova; six brothers, Mike, Aldo, Richard, Julius, Albert and Jim Rocconi; and two sisters, Vera Ferri and Edith Santucci.
Mrs. Cocilova is survived by her children, Dolores (Fred) Storey of Shaw, MS; Doug (Cindy) Cocilova of Cleveland, MS; and Larry (Tammy) Cocilova of Shaw, MS; grandchildren, Samuel (Sonya) Storey of Cleveland, MS; Jonathan (Stacey) Storey of Cleveland, MS; Stephen (Amanda) Cocilova of Brandon, MS; Andrew (Ashley) Cocilova of Brandon, MS; and Nicholas Cocilova of Shaw, MS; great-grandchildren, Anthony and Alex Storey; and Kathryn Ellis Cocilova; and sister, Rosa Rocconi Santucci .
Pallbearers will be Samuel Storey, Jonathan Storey, Stephen Cocilova, Andrew Cocilova, Nicholas Cocilova and John Michael Santucci.
