Conchetta Thompson

Conchetta Glorioso Thompson, 83 of Gunnison, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 in Jackson. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August, 9, 2014, at Ray Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rosedale with Father Kent Bowlds officiating. Interment will be in Greenville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson was born September 9, 1930, to John James Glorioso and Mary Tuminello Glorioso. She married Michael Augustus Thompson, Sr. on January 28, 1950.
She is survived by her sister, Jennie Glorioso Sherman (James) of Clarksdale; brother, John James Glorioso Jr. (Betty) of Boyle; son, Michael Augustus Thompson, Jr. (Paula) of Gunnison; daughter, Marianne Thompson Balducci of Cleveland; grandchildren, Charles Balducci Jr. (Cammie) of Cleveland, Michael Augustus Thompson III (Rachel) of Leander, TX, Michael Rocco Balducci of Gunnison, Conchetta Dawn Thompson of Brandon; nieces, Lisa Margaret Sherman, of Madison and Ricca Maria Sherman; and nephews, John Michael Sherman of Clarksdale, Richard Glorioso Sherman of Irving, TX, James N. Sherman Jr. (Brenda) of Leland, Stephen Anthony Glorioso (Noelle) of Cleveland, James Glorioso (Tammy) and James Vincent Sherman of Memphis, TN; great- grandchildren, Charles Austin Balducci of Cleveland, John Michael Balducci of Cleveland, Liam Andrew Thompson, Marcus Orion Thompson of Leander, TX.
Mrs. Thompson is Preceded in death by her parents, John James Glorioso, Sr. and Mary Tuminello Glorioso; husband, Michael Augustus Thompson, Sr.; great-grandparents, Pete and Jeannie Tuminello
Pallbearers will be Charles Austin Balducci, John Michael Balducci, James Vincent Sherman, James N. Sherman, John Michael Sherman and Richard Sherman.
