Danny Fly

Mr. Danny Jack Fly, 60, of Shaw, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014, at his home. Visitation will be 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Ray Funeral Home with Bro. John Chouccoli and Bro. Robert Haney officiating. Interment will be in Shaw Cemetery.
Mr. Fly was born November 13, 1953, to George Lee Fly and Bessie Louise Moody Fly. He worked for forty years in the tool and die industry at Duofast, Irwin and Milwaukee Tool. He loved to garden and deer hunt and was a member of Double Signboard Hunting Club in Maben, MS. He was a member of Interstate Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Lee Fly and Bessie Louise Moody Fly and brother, George D. Fly.
Mr. Fly is survived by his sons, Ronald Prewitt (Christy) of Collierville, TN, Robert Prewitt (Jennifer) of Brandon, MS, and Danny J. Fly, Jr. (Kelli) of Millington, TN; brother Carlis Fly (Jeanie) of Shaw, MS; sisters, Jeanette Commander (Charles) of Shaw, Patsy James (Frank) of Benoit, and Gaylene Combs (Jimmy) of Bartlett, TN; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Richard, Lewis Sellers, Tommy McMurry, Bubba "Carl" Daves, Skeeter Bowen, Bob Walters, Bubba Brown, and Rodney Moody. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Double Signboard Hunting Club and their families.
In memory of Mr. Fly, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
