David Brown Jr

David Brown Jr., 72, of Rosedale went to be with the Lord Monday, October 3, 2022.  Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2022, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS.  Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Shelby Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Robert Block, Jacob Block, Alton Gilbert III, Alton Gilbert Jr., John Gilbert, Daylan Block, Jason Floyd Williams, and Jeff Boyd. 

David was born July 24, 1950, in Clarksdale, Mississippi to David and Marie Brown Sr.  He could work and fix anything.  David enjoyed being outside picking pecans, gardening, fishing, and spending time with his chickens and ducks.  Most of all David loved life and being around people.

He is preceded by his parents David and Marie Brown Sr.; sisters, Diane Coleman, Katherine Simpson, and Linda Gilbert; brothers, Jimbo and Jerry Brown.

David is survived by his son, Eric Brown; grandchildren, Erica and Erin Brown; brothers, Tommy Brown (Mary Joe), Jackie Brown (fiance Margaret), and Leroy Brown; sister Maxine Baillio (Arthur); significant other, Alma Sue Boyd.
