David Joseph Sbravati, 50, of Cleveland, MS, passed away, Thursday, December 5, 2013, at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 9, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shelby. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 9, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will be in Shelby City Cemetery.
Mr. Sbravati was born in Clarksdale on November 22, 1963, to Vito Joseph Sbravati and Christine Fava Sbravati. He worked as a Pharmacist for many years. He married Kristie Perrett on February 27, 1993, at First Baptist Church of Boyle. Mr. Sbravati was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Knights of Columbus, and Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. He loved to collect coins, travel, and be with friends and family. One of his many talents was making puppets and being a puppeteer. In his younger years, he held shows in Clarksdale and entertained at many birthday parties. He was a very special and unique person and there will never be another like him.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Christine Fava Sbravati; his grandparents, Bruno David Fava and Susie Allegrezza Fava, and Mr. Emo Vito Sbravati and Enis Barbieri Sbravati.
Mr. Sbravati is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kristie Perrett Sbravati of Cleveland; Father, Vito Joseph Sbravati of Alligator; sister, Dana Sbravati Coker (Don) of Southaven; brothers, Jimmy Sbravati (Diane) of Cleveland, and Ron Sbravati (Gina) of Kennesaw, GA; and his beloved golden retriever, Sam.
In memory of Mr. Sbravati, the family requests that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
