Dell Thornton Frazier, 88, of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, June 19 2012 at University Medical Center in Jackson. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Beulah Cemetery. Rev. Luther Robinson will be officiating.
Mrs. Frazier was born October 13, 1923, to Harvey Dewitt Thornton and Mollie Morgan, in Pace, MS. In July 1942, she married John Burk Frazier. She will always be remembered by the OES Treasure of Sunday School Bible Class, Retired from the Postal Service with 30 years of service as Postmaster as 7 years, and Clerk over the Beulah Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Mollie Thornton; her husband, John Burk Frazier.
She is survived by her sons, John B. Frazier (Wanda) of Port Gibson, Ms, James H. Frazier "Jimmy" (Kaffey) of Rosedale, MS., Dewitt Frazier (Brenda) of Stuart's Draft, VA, and Randy Frazier (Ellen) of Arab, AL.; Grandchildren, Leslie Snodgrass, James Buck Frazier, Allen J. Frazier, Melissa Frazier, Phillip Frazier, David Frazier, Jennifer Arrington, Christopher Frazier; and a host of great-grandchildren; brothers, Allan Thornton, Ray Thornton, Roy Thornton, Francis Thornton; sisters, Christine Mitchell, and Elizabeth Noblin.
Pallbearers will be Dave Snodgrass, Norman Chenault, Ray Travis, George Scott, William K. Dossett, and Lee Bizzell.
Memorials can be made to Pace United Methodist Church or The Cancer Society.
