Delores Dorrough

Delores Marlow Dorrough, 83, of Ruleville, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014, at Walter B. Crook Nursing Home in Ruleville. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at First United Methodist Church in Ruleville. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at First United Methodist Church in Ruleville with Rev. Mary Hutson officiating. Interment will be in Marlow Mound.
Mrs. Dorrough was born in Ruleville, MS June 16, 1931, to Henry G. Marlow and Exer McCain Marlow. On July 2, 1949, she married Dr. Charles Dorrough. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ruleville for over 50 years. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly, was an avid bridge player, and loved to travel all over the world.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Exer Marlow; son, Gerald Lee "Duff" Dorrough; and brothers, Bobby Marlow, Henry Marlow, and Gene Marlow.
Mrs. Dorrough is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dr. Charles Dorrough; sons, Marlow Dorrough (Allenda) of Oxford and John Robert Dorrough (Beth) of Ruleville; and grandchildren, Blair Dorrough, Marlow Dorrough, Melanie Dorrough, and Audra Dorrough.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
