Dennis Leon Braswell

Dennis Braswell, age 63, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at his home. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. Celebration of life Services will be held 11:00 am on Friday, February 27, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Braswell officiating. Burial will be in New Cleveland Cemetery. Dennis Braswell was born November 16, 1951, in Cleveland, MS, to Leon Whitfield and Minnie Cornlia Boyd Braswell. He was employed by FFA Ag Credit as an auditor for 20 years . He loved car racing, and traveling with his mother. He will always be remembered as being very kind and compassionate. Mr. Braswell is preceded in death by his father, Leon Whitfield Braswell.
He is survived by his mother, Minnie Braswell of Cleveland; brother, Gene Braswell of Hot Springs, AR; sister, Vera Tweedle of Sevierville, TN; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friend, Danny Robertson. Pallbearers will be Larry Harrison, Jerry Jeffcoat, Doug Peacock, Ike Raley, Kenny Bruce, and Joe Peacock. Honorary pallbearers will be James Roy Harkins, Mickey Robinson, and Carl Tarver.
