Dennis Raines

Dennis William Raines"Caveman", 60, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow beginning at 3:00 p.m. July 1, 2014 at Ray Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Haney officiating.
Mr. Raines was born on December 19, 1953 to Merlin Edwin Raines and Darlene Hildebrand. He married Marion Frances Horrigan on December 19, 1978. He was a member of the Delta Classic Car Club and the Delta State Sports Hall of Fame.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Merlin and Darlene Raines; and brother, Randy Raines.
Mr. Raines is survived by his wife, Marion Raines of Cleveland, MS; daughters, Christen Raines Griffin of Cleveland, MS, and Lindsey Raines of Cleveland, MS; granddaughter, Katie Raines of Cleveland, MS; brother, Chuck Raines (Flossie) of Brooksville, FL; sister-in-law, Carla Raines of White Cloud, MI; mother-in-law, Nell Horrigan of Grenada, MS and 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dennis Raines Fund at Baxter Credit Union.
