Dolly Jenkins

Dolly M. Jenkins, 88, of Rosedale, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Huber officiating. Interment will be in Beulah Cemetery.
Mrs. Jenkins was born November 7, 1926, in Spencer, TN to Jessie and Loey Moore.
On December 13, 1943, she married Nathaniel Jenkins. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and was a devout Christian who had a passion for sharing God's love to all who would listen. She enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible, and preaching the gospel.
She is preceded in death by parents, Jessie and Loey Moore; husband, Nathaniel Jenkins; son, Larry Nathaniel Jenkins; brothers, Homer Moore, William Jenning Moore, James Taylor Moore, and Lonnie Vincent Moore; and sisters, Sadie Harris, Almeeta Laverne Cannady, and Lillian Odelle Adams.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Faye Diamond (Sam) of Rosedale; son, Jerry Jenkins (Leslie) of Cleveland; daughter-in-law, Nell Jenkins of Cleveland; grandchildren, Joseph Jenkins (Jana), Jonathan Jenkins (Stephanie), Amanda Jenkins, Madison Jenkins, Larry Nathaniel Jenkins, Jr.; 11 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Jenkins, Jonathan Jenkins, Wade Boyette, Bill Gallaher, Perry Russell and Steve Couey.
