Alma Doris Keefer, 78, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas passed away Monday, April 27, 2020 at her home in Horseshoe Bend. She was born in Bonita, Louisiana on April 30, 1941, daughter of the late Jesse Thomas and Ethel (Ray) Gabbart. Alma spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. She loved watching butterflies and working in her flower beds. Alma was a very outgoing person and loved putting a smile on everyone's face. Alma is survived by her son, Glenn Keefer (Amanda) of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and brother, Jack Gabbert (Evie) of Liberty, Missouri. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Glenn N. Keefer and Mac McAliley; parents, Jesse and Ethel Gabbart; sisters, Faye Lester, Ann Capers and Rose Wolander and brothers, Jessie Gabbert, Bill Gabbert, Henry Gabbert, James Gabbert and Clark Gabbert. Graveside services will be in Stoneville Cemetery in Stoneville, Mississippi.
