Mrs. Doris Nell Jones Williamson, 73, of Drew, MS passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be Friday, March 18, 2011 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of life services will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Johnny Bley officiating. Burial will be at North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Williamson was born in Red Lick, MS on December 10, 1937, to Burnie Charles Jones and Docia Irene Stevenson Jones Dixon. She married Ralph Harold Williamson on August 8, 1956 in Jefferson County. Mrs. Williamson was a member of Drew Baptist Church. She loved to read, knit, and crochet. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Williamson of Drew, MS; sons, Ronnie (Ann) Williamson of Cleveland, MS and Randy Williamson of Manhattan, NY; granddaughter, Cristi Williamson of Cleveland, MS; grandson, Ron (Rondah) Williamson of Meadville, MS; great-grandchildren, Aden Williamson and Raven Wells of Meadville, MS; sister, Elinor Case of Fayette, MS; nephews, Robert (Kim) Case of Fayette, MS and Charles (Sheryl) Case of Fayette, MS; uncle, Frank (Louise) Stevenson of Florence, MS; 2 great nephews; 3 great nieces and one Great-Great-niece.
Pallbearers will be Ron Williamson, Robert Case, Charles Case, Justin Case, Gene Cobb and Wade Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Charles Brock, John Henry Williams, Bebo Starnes, Bill Manning, Roy McCain and Reese Manning.
