Dorothy Mallette Dreher, 92, of Benoit, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013, in Greenville, MS. Graveside services were held 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2013, at Beulah Cemetery.
Mrs. Dreher was born in Benoit on April 17, 1921, to Marvin Mallette and Kathleen Bay Mallette. On July 12, 1942, she married Roy Dreher, Sr. in Indianola, MS. She was a member of the Huguenot Society and the Church of Christ. She was a dedicated wife and mother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Braxton Mallette and Kathleen Bay Mallette; husband, Roy Dreher, Sr.; brother, Marvin "Sonny" Mallette; sister, Kathleen Mallette; and grandsons, Peyton and Trent Madison.
Mrs. Dreher is survived by her daughters Dianne D. Hanos and Sandra D. Madison; son, Roy D. Dreher, Jr.; sisters, Carol Morris, Margaret Anderson and Lavelle Burnett; brother, Frank Mallette; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In memory of Mrs. Dreher, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
