Douglas was born on December 2, 1953, in Ft. Louis, WA, to Douglas Jackson Allen, Sr. and Lorraine Johnson Allen. On October 17, 2002, he married Joy Madeline Love in Lake Village, AR.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Jackson Allen, Sr. and Lorraine Johnson Allen; and brother, Jim Allen.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Joy Love Allen; son, Douglas Jackson Allen, III (Jenna) of Oxford; daughter, Johnnie Allen of Greenville; step-daughters, Shay Muns Tatum (Rob) of Hattiesburg and Carrie Muns Williams (Richard) of Boyle; one grandchild; seven step-grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother.
In Memory of Mr. Allen, the family requests donations made to the Palmer Home for Children.
