Dr. Austin & Angela Angie Poole

Angie's effervescent joy permeated everything she did. When she walked into a room, everything lit up, and we were all better people for being near her. She mothered her five children with a fierce and deep love. Angie was the one that her family and friends turned to first in times of sorrow and happiness because she had a great gift for listening compassionately and responding with generous care. Angie loved cheering on the Ole Miss Rebel football, baseball and basketball teams, and she was always up front and center. Not only did Angie support Ole Miss and her kids' athletic endeavors, she was also a great athlete herself. She woke up at 5 a.m. to work out with her husband, Austin, and she loved spending hunting season at her home away from home, Merigold Hunting Club. After graduating from the University of Mississippi, Angie was a remarkable business woman and she ran her husband Austin's dental clinic in Clarksdale, Mississippi. She played an active role in Tri Delta sorority, Junior Auxiliary and Grace Bible Church. Her energy has left an impact on many lives, and her love will always be remembered. Survivors include three daughters, Katie Poole, Kingsley Warrington, and Wesley Warrington of Oxford, MS; two sons, Walker Poole and Jack Warrington of Oxford, MS; her mother, Lizzie Roark of Oxford, MS; her father, Murry (Lisa) Roark of Boyle, MS; her brother, Al ( Carol) Roark of Batesville, MS; a host of other family members. When you think of Austin Poole, the first thing you think about is a Delta boy through and through who loved the Lord, loved his family, and loved the outdoors. His family was his passion, especially his wife, Angie. When you saw one, you saw the other, and the first thing you saw were their smiles. He was an amazing husband and also an amazing dad. Nothing brought him greater joy than getting to watch his kids compete in sports or sitting beside them in a deer stand. He loved traveling with his family and taking them to Ole Miss sporting events - football, basketball, and his favorite was sitting in left field at Swayze with his baseball family. He took advantage of every opportunity to be in the woods, and no place was better than his home away from home, Merigold Hunting Club. After years of dedicated study and hard work at Delta State University and the University of Mississippi dental school, Austin was an amazing dentist at his practice in Clarksdale, Mississippi. He not only helped people fix their smiles, he also brought smiles to every patient he served. He played an active role in Kappa Alpha Order, Donated Dental Services and Grace Bible Church. He lived life big, never missing an opportunity to serve those in his life generously, to pursue excellence academically and professionally, to enjoy each hobby to its full extent and to maximize every travel adventure. Survivors include three daughters, Katie Poole, Kingsley Warrington and Wesley Warrington of Oxford, MS; two sons, Walker Poole and Jack Warrington of Oxford, MS; his mother, Mary ( Grady) White of Oxford, MS; his father, Henry Fleming Poole (Mary Jo) of Crystal Springs, MS; his sister, Meredith (Brent) Martin of Tupelo, MS; his brother, Jonathon (Alison) Poole of Chattanooga, TN; a host of other family members. Visitation will be held Friday, August 19, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at North Oxford Baptist Church.
