Earl Kent Dakin

Kent Dakin, age 74, passed away on January 2, 2023.

Kent was born in Cleveland, MS to Joseph and Hazel Dakin. Kent married Jeanette Gilbert of Skene in 1993.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jeanette Dakin, and his sister Dolly Jo Griffin. 
Kent loved old tractors and tractor pulls and loved his small dogs.
He is survived by siblings Cameron Dakin, Paul Dakin, Opal Dakin, Virginia Guy Hester, and Ruth Dakin Connell. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A visitation will be held 9 AM Thursday January 5, 2023 and a service to follow at 10 AM at Ray Funeral Home chapel. Elder John Thames will officiate.
