Earl Tedford

Mr. Earl Lynn Tedford, 79, of Cleveland, passed away June 27, 2012 at Cleveland Nursing and Rehab. Visitation will be held 9:00-10:00 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, at Ray Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Delta Heights Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steve Roberts officiating.
Mr. Tedford was born in Cleveland, MS on December 3, 1932, to Duke Johnson Tedford and Ruth Murphree Tedford. In 1975, he married Hazel Steed in Boyle, MS and worked as a carpenter for most of his life. He was a member of the Baptist church, enjoyed hunting and had a love of "the lake and cabin".
He is preceded in death by his parents, Duke and Ruth Tedford; and a granddaughter, Amanda Jones.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Hazel Steed Tedford of Cleveland, MS; daughter, Linda Sinyard of Eldorado, Arkansas; son, Ricky Tedford of Poplarville, MS; brothers, Otha Tedford of Cleveland, Ms and John Tedford of Scott, MS; sister, Gladys Jones of Cleveland, MS; step-daughters, Sandra Bonney of Auburn, AL and Charlotte Sappington of Cleveland, MS; step-son, Jimmy David of Cleveland, MS; grandchildren, Benny Williams, Cherrie Pollan, Tracey Rocconi, Jason Sappington, Mindy Sappington, James Bonney, Alice Nelson, and Elizabeth "Beth" Jones.
Pallbearers will be Bernie Jones, Homer Gant, Danny Tedford, Harvey Dreher, Jason Sappington, Benny Williams, Donald Sappington and James Bonney.
