Edward Tollison

Edward Earl "Bubba" Tollison, Jr., 64, of Ruleville, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2014, at Ruleville Baptist Church. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2014, at Ruleville Baptist Church with Rev. Cory Lancaster and Rev. Jack Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Lehrton Cemetery.
Mr. Tollison was born March 28, 1949, in Greenwood to Edward Earl Tollison, Sr. and June Hammons Tollison. On October 15, 1983, he married Rebecca Miller in Drew. He worked as a crop consultant and farmer, and he was the owner of Tollison Insurance Agency. Bubba served on the board of directors at Southern Bancorp Bank and was a member of Ruleville Baptist Church. He loved duck hunting, the Ole Miss Rebels, and his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Earl Tollison, Sr.
Mr. Tollison is survived by his wife, Becky Tollison of Ruleville; children, Zac Tollison (Lauren) of Ruleville and Ansley Vanlandingham (Brian) of Greenville; grandchild, Grace Katherine Vanlandingham of Greenville; mother, June Tollison Knight of Cleveland; and sister, Cyndie Harrison of Jackson.
Pallbearers will be Skipper Jernigan, George Lotterhos, Hugh Arant, Jimmy Chandler, Lawson Holliday, Steve Clark, and Randy Reed. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Barrett, Charles Bush, Jimmy Hays, Larry Stephenson, Brent Garrison, Billy VanDevender, Newt Carver, and Dudley Burke.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bubba Tollison to Big Oak Ranch P.O. Box 507 Springville, AL 35146.
