Elaine McBee

Elaine C. McBee, 96, of Ruleville, MS, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014, at Walter B. Crook Nursing Facility. Memorial Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Walter B. Crook Nursing Facility with Bro. Butch Cummins officiating. Interment will follow in Lehrton Cemetery.
Mrs. McBee was born in Drew, MS on October 24, 1917, to George Albert Clark and Annie Mansker Clark. She was a homemaker and she cared for and loved her family dearly. On July 18, 1942, she married C. W. McBee, Jr. in Ruleville. She was a member of Ruleville Baptist Church; and she loved to cook, crochet, and Sewed for the public.
She is preceded in death by her husband, C.W. McBee, Jr.; parents, George Albert Clark and Annie Mansker Clark; sisters, Mary Lee Cummins, Jauwiece Twitchell, Helen Falkner, and Cordelia Clark; and her brothers, Paul Clark and Gladwin Clark.
Mrs. McBee is survived by her daughters Martha Jennings of Millington, TN and Lyda M. Davis of Lenoir City,TN; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
