Elizabeth Ann Breazeale

Elizabeth Ann Breazeale, 80, of Madison, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Christ United Methodist Church on Old Canton Rd. in Jackson, MS. Memorial Services will immediately follow beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Calvin Cosnahan officiating. Interment will be in Lehrton Cemetery, Ruleville, MS at 6:00 p.m. with Bro. Larry Chouccoli officiating. Miss Breazeale was born July 1, 1935, in Doddsville, Mississippi to Grace Oliver Breazeale and Charles Everette Breazeale. She graduated from Ruleville High School in 1953, and obtained a Bachelors Degree in Business Education from Delta State University in 1957. She acquired her Master of Science in Business Education from Mississippi State University in 1970. In her 35 year teaching career she taught at Key West, FL, Jacksonville, FL, Gulfport High School, Central High School, and Jim Hill High School, where she retired. She enjoyed playing bridge and keeping up with her former students, friends and family. She is survived by her sisters, Elaine Brown of Gulfport and Virginia Wheat of Meridian; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Malcolm Breazeale, Maurice Breazeale, Ralph Breazeale, and her sister Carolyn Breazeale Eastland. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The Joy Club of Christ United Methodist Church, The Gideon's, or a charity of one's choice.
