Elizabeth Malone

Elizabeth Johnston Malone, 77, of Pace passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 at her home. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Ray Funeral home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Ray Funeral Home with interment following at 2:00 p.m. at the Enon Methodist Church Cemetery, in Carrollton, MS.
Mrs. Malone was born November 9, 1934, to Jimmie White Johnston and Ruth Warren Johnston in Bolivar County. In 1957, she married Robert C. Malone, Jr. in Rosedale, MS. Mrs. Malone worked in the medical field as a nurse for 45 years. She was a member of the Pace Methodist Church, Lions club, and attended "I can cope group." She loved doing water aerobics.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie Johnston and Ruth Warren Johnston; husband, Robert C. Malone, Jr.; son, Mike Malone; and brother, Shine Johnston
Mrs. Malone is survived by her sons, Pat Malone of Pace, and Robert Malone (Gail) of Memphis; daughters, Molly Herring Coleman (Johnny) of Columbus, Kelly Fallen (Louis) of Florida, and Lilly Malone of Olive Branch; and 5 grandchildren.
