Eloise Price Soto, 79, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Church of Faith on Hwy 61. Celebration of Life Services will immediately follow begininng at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Church of Faith. Interment will follow in Itta Bena Cemetery. Mrs. Soto was born on October16, 1936, to Herbert Benjamin Price and Lois Adean Bond. On October 7, 1967, she married Ruben C. Soto. She loved taking care of her grandchildren, listening to old country and gospel music, and looking after her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben C. Soto; parents, Herbert Benjamin Price and Lois Adean Bond Price; daughter, Wanda Kay Pulliam; brother, Rayburn "R.C." Price; and sister, Shirley Jean Redwine. She is survived by her children, Carolyn Ray Goss (Loy), Mary Eloise Vandeventer (Dave Hendricks), George Alton Staten, Sr., Herbert Dwight "Ike" Soto (Angie), and Tammy Rena Soto (Isaac); and sister, Mary Louise Banks (Cortez); grandchildren, Gary Dean Vandeventer, Jr., Kaileb Gale Vandeventer, Jason Ray Vandeventer, Jessica Marie Vandeventer, James "J.C." Staten, George Alton Staten, Jr., Charles Staten, Tommy Staten, Derick Staten, Jessica Soto, David Pulliam, Jr., Rebecca Jerkins, Brett Soto, Brant Soto, Arianna Soto, Cheyenne Soto, and Olivia Soto; and numerous beloved great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gary Vandeventer, Kaileb Vandeventer, Jason Vandeventer, Loy Goss, Don Nicholson, Isaac Davis, and Jerry Kilgore. Honorary pallbearers will be Brett Soto and David Pulliam.
