Emma Tedder Moody

Ms. Emma Mae Tedder Moody,86, of Mandeville LA, formerly of Cleveland, MS; passed away at St. Tammany Parish Hospital Tuesday March 16, 2021. A visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2021 at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS with a Celebration of Life Service to immediately following. Interment will be at New Cleveland Cemetery.
Ms. Emma was born April 28, 1934 to John Rube Tedder and Pearl Steed Tedder in Cleveland, MS. She was employed by Baxter Laboratories for 43 years and worked in many departments finishing the last years as a Shipping Coordinator. Her family meant everything to her, she was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a love and talent of sewing/creating clothing for her four girls growing up. Through each season of life, she always found a way to be giving and caring even when her cup was half empty. She is survived by her daughters, Paula Wand (George) of Preston, MS; Phyllis Villescaz (Michael) of Mandiville LA; Carla Crites of Monticello, MS. She also has 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and a host of special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in passing by her parents, John Rube Tedder and Pearl Steed Tedder; daughter, Linda Moody Donovan; brother, James Albert Tedder; sister, Ruth Tedder Shoops
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
