Mr. Ferdinand Baptist Lohr, 83, of Boyle passed away, Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Walter B. Crook Nursing Home. Visitation will be 12:00- 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Ray Funeral Home. Memorial Services will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Ray Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Haney officiating.
Mr. Lohr was born in Germany on October 17, 1929. He escaped a French Concentration camp when he was 13 and came to the United States. He served in the US Army and later he became a flying instructor and an AG pilot.
He is survived by his wife, Edra Holder Lohr; daughters, Brenda Vanlandingham (Bernard), and Shelia Rone (Ned Rone, deceased); and a son, Howard Mitchell (Charlotte).
