Mrs. Frances Bryant, of Cleveland Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at Delta regional Medical Center after a short illness.
Mrs. Bryant was born to Brancy Moody and Nina Shive Moody. She married Thomas Bryant on March 27, 1982. She was very passionate about being a beautician. She loved her family and friends dearly. She was a member of First Baptist Church and attended Mass at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Brancy and Nina Moody and a brother, Jack Moody.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas Bryant; children, Susan Bryant McAlpin and Rachael Bryant Chandrasekaran (Ravi); sisters, Sarah McMinn, Kathleen Patterson, and Helen Cummins (Billy); Sister in law, Mary Jo Moody; grandchildren, Adeline McAlpin, Charlotte McAlpin, Divya Chandrasekaran and Mira Chandrasekaran.
Pallbearers will be Bill Cummins, Lee Cummins, Barry Bryant, Steve Moody, Keith McMinn, David Milling, Jackie Moody and David Pope.
In honor of Mrs. Bryant, memorials may be made to Mississippi or Cleveland Alzheimer's Association.
Visitation will be will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Ray Funeral Home. A second visitation will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2014 at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services immediately following beginning at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2014 at Ray Funeral Home with Father Kent Bowlds, Brother Brad Beckwith and Doctor Macklyn Hubbell officiating. Interment will be in Drew Cemetery.
