Frances Smart

Frances Louise Smart, 88 of Brandon, Mississippi formerly of Cleveland, Mississippi passed from this life on Friday, February 24, 2012 in Brandon.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2012, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, Mississippi. Burial will be at Barbee Cemetery in Lula, Mississippi. Visitation will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
Mrs. Smart began working at Baxter Laboratories in Cleveland in 1950, and worked there until 1972. She married Oscar Smart on April 9, 1972, and lived in Coahoma County until Mr. Smart passed away in January 1980. She then moved back to Cleveland to be near family. She worked at a number of restaurants before retiring in 2001. Upon her retirement she moved to Brandon, Mississippi, to live with her daughter and son-in-law.
Mrs. Smart is survived by a daughter, Sylvia Green, and a son-in-law, Raymond Green of Brandon; a grandson, Darren Green of Brandon; and a sister, Ramona Allen of Cleveland.
