Franklin Ellis

Franklin Viner Ellis, 59, of Drew, MS, passed away Monday, January 13, 2013, at his home. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Church of Christ in Drew, MS. Celebration of Life services will immediately following beginning at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Church of Christ in Drew with Bro. Thomas Mahan officiating.
Mr. Ellis was born in Ruleville, MS on July 7, 1954, to Robert A. Ellis and Mozelle Viner Ellis. He was a member of Drew Church of Christ; and he loved Elvis Presley, Archie Manning, Peyton Manning, and Ely Manning. Most importantly, He was a very brave person.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Aills Ellis; and brother, Robert Aills Ellis, Jr.
Mr. Ellis is survived by his mother, Mozelle Viner Ellis; sister, Jenny Ellis; brother, James "Jim" Ellis (Freda); and nieces, Kathryn McCain Flemmons (Brian), Rebekah Ellis, Kate Ellis, and Molly Ellis.
