Fred Allen Rogers, 72, of Cleveland, passed away at his home on January 4, 2013. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home, and a Second Visitation will be held Monday, January 7, 2013 from 10:00 p.m. - 11:00 at the St. Luke United Methodist Church with the services immediately following with Rev. Darian Duckworth officiating.
Mr. Rogers was born March 19, 1940 to John Albert Rogers and Pearl Touchstone Rogers. He marries Sally Sanders Rogers on September 21, 1963 in Memphis, TN. He owned and managed Sound Center for 33 years. In 1990 he received the Gladys Castle Friend of DSU Service Award, he also served as a president on the DSU Booster Club, and he was a past member of the Lions Club. He was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. He was also in the Army Reserve.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Rogers of Cleveland, MS; Sons, Brent Rogers (Claire) of Cleveland, MS, and Stoney Rogers (CeCe), of Gautier, MS; Grandchildren, Mary Jayson, Hart and Carlie Rogers, and Livi, Jack, and Ella Rogers.
