Gary Lynn Wygal Brickman

Gary Lynn Wygal Brickman, 64, passed away peacefully in her home in Greenville, NC, on November 12, 2023, after a long courageous battle with cancer.  Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 20 at Ray Funeral Home, Cleveland, MS, with a graveside service immediately following at New Cleveland Cemetery.  Gary Lynn was born in Laurel, MS, and was raised in Cleveland, MS, by her late parents, Warren Fleetwood and Louise Gary Wygal.  She attended Cleveland High School and was a hair stylist in Cleveland for many years.  In 1986 she married the love of her life, Barry, and settled down to raise two young children which gave her a new full time job.  She did everything for them and supported them with every endeavor.  When her grandkids were born, she found a new joy in life that brought her many more years of smiles, visits, videos, and facetime calls.  Although petite in size, she fought the good fight and went down swingin.  Cancer didn't get her; the good Lord came and brought her home. She is survived by her husband, Barry Brickman, of Greenville, NC; two children, Clifford Warren Davis, Bowling Green, KY and Brittany Lynn Brickman Perry (Rusty), Layton, Utah; and grandchildren, Aubrey Lee Webb-Davis, Bowling Green, KY; Jacob Dalton Perry, Layton, Utah; and Amber, Jeremy, and Zack Perry.  She also leaves her sister, Mary Warren Wygal Kirksey (Randy) of Pascagoula, MS.
