Gary Palacios

Mr. Gary "Chico" Dale Palacios, 39, of Cleveland, MS, passed away, March 1, 2012. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Ray Funeral Home, Sunday, March 4, 2012. Celebration of life service will be at 3:00 pm at Ray Funeral Home, Sunday, March 4, 2012 with Rev. James Wilkerson officiating. Interment service will follow services in Delta Heights Cemetery.
Mr. Palacios was born July 11, 1972 in Cleveland, MS to Mike Palacios and Louise Lindsey Palacios. He graduated from Cleveland High School in 1990. He attended Tennessee State on a baseball scholarship. Gary, later attended Mississippi Delta Community College and Delta State University.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edgar and Lucille Lindsey; his paternal grandparents, Camillio and Benita Palacios; his brothers, Michael and Tony Palacios; and nephew, Timothy Cannon.
He is survived by his parents, Mike Palacios and Louise Lindsey Palacios of Cleveland, MS; sister, Janie Palacios Cannon of Cleveland, MS; nephews, Madison Dixon and Justin Cannon; and a host of aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be, Jeffrey Paul Lindsey, James Jeffrey Winters, Christopher Lindsey, Jessie Palacios, Justin Cannon and Shane Lindsey.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Pierce, Shane Sims and Butch Boyette.
