George Fly

George Douglas Fly, 71, of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at University Medical Center, in Jackson. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012, at Ray Funeral Home with services immediately following the visitation. Bro. Robert Haney will be officiating. Interment will follow in Delta Heights Memorial Garden, Cleveland.
Mr. Fly was born December 6, 1940, to George Lee Fly and Bessie Louise Moody in Litton, MS. In December of 1963, he married Minnie Jean Carver. He was a Marine Veteran.
He is Preceded in Death by the His wife, Minnie Fly; his parents, George and Bessie Fly.
Mr. Fly is survived by his children, Donna Fly Bullock of Cleveland, Vivian Fly Staples of Cleveland, and Myron Douglas Fly of Cleveland; grandchildren, Paul Staples of Cleveland, Wendy Staples of Cleveland, Levi Bullock of Cleveland, Bethani Fly of Cleveland, Leanna Bullock of Cleveland, Brieanna Fly of Cleveland, Blaire Fly Of Cleveland, and Blake Fly of Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Briggs Staples of Cleveland; Brothers, Carlis Fly of Shaw, Danny Fly of Shaw; Sisters, Jeanette Commander of Shaw, Patsy James of Benoit and Gaylene Combs of Memphis.
Pallbearers will be Roger McClain, Carl McClain, Johnny Buck, Justin McClain, Paul Cox, Gary Holecek, Victor Miller, and John Buck.
